5 to 6 ripe Peaches peeled
½ Lemon (Juiced)
⅓ Cup Sugar (Plus ¾ Cup to be used for Batter)
3 Tbsp. melted Butter
1 tsp. Baking Powder
¼ tsp. Salt
½ Cup Milk
1 Cup Sifted all-purpose Flour
FOR TOPPING:
1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
1 Cup Sugar
¼ tsp. Cinnamon
Vanilla Ice Cream or Whipping Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Bake for 45 minutes or until hot & bubbly.
Slice peaches lengthwise into ¼" slices. Combine peaches, ⅓ Cup sugar & juice of half a lemon.
Let sit for 30 minutes. Arrange peaches in bottom of 9 x 13" baking pan.
Combine remaining ¾ cup sugar, butter, baking powder, salt, milk & flour in medium bowl. Pour batter over peaches. For topping combine cornstarch, sugar & cinnamon & sprinkle over the top of batter.
Its okay if the batter does not cover all the fruit it, spreds during baking.
