1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 cups quick cooking oats
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup chopped walnuts (OPT)

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, stir together brown sugar and butter until blended. Add vanilla, eggs and blend until light and fluffy, stir in oats, flour, baking soda and salt. Blend well and add chocolate chips.

Drop by rounded tablespoon onto baking sheet and bake at 350 for 9 to 11 minutes until golden brown.
