1 partially baked pie dough (5-7 minutes. Allow it to cool. Reduce oven heat to 375

Combine and beat thoroughly
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 teas salt
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup light corn syrup

stir in:
1 cup pecan halves (other nuts work too)
1 teas vanilla or 1 T rum

Fill the shell. Bake the pie 40-50 minutes at 375 or until a knife inserted in the filling comes out clean.
