2 Tbsp. butter
1 ½ Tbsp. flour
16 oz. can of early June peas, packed in water
¼ tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
Parsley flakes (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Drain can of peas, reserving water. Melt butter and stir in flour. Heat until bubbling. Remove from heat and slowly add reserved water from canned peas. Return to heat and add salt, sugar, and parsley (if desired). Bring to boil and boil one minute. Add peas and heat through.

Makes 4 servings.
