Personal Notes:
Mom Kelly Wallace grew up with her family making "Hello Dollies" as a family tradition every year for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The first time Kelly saw the dish at her grandparents she asked, "What is that? Is that puke in a pan?!" The new name stuck. Her grandparents and uncles and family all called it "Puke-in-a-Pan" from that time on instead of the traditional name "Hello Dollies." Since then, Kelly has passed the recipe on to her children (i.e., Kristina, Jake & Lindey, Madison, & Olivia) and thereby to many J38 students all whom love the special treat.
