4 - 5 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 c. celery ( diced)
1 c. carrots (diced)
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper

¼ c. flour
1 c. cold water

Dumplings:
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 c. milk
⅓ c. margarine (melted)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine chicken with vegetables, salt and pepper in large pot. Fill with water about ¾ full, bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 2½ - 3 hrs. Remove chicken and dice or cut to desired size. Mix flour and water together and whisk into simmering pot of vegetables and broth, to thicken. Return chicken to pot. Make dumplings in order of ingredients and drop by spoonful ( I use a cookie scoop) into pot of simmering chicken and vegetables. Cover and cook 20 minutes more.
