4 - 5 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 c. celery ( diced)
1 c. carrots (diced)
1 tsp. salt
tsp. pepper

c. flour
1 c. cold water

Dumplings:
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
tsp. salt
1 c. milk
⅓ c. margarine (melted)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine chicken with vegetables, salt and pepper in large pot. Fill with water about full, bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 2 - 3 hrs. Remove chicken and dice or cut to desired size. Mix flour and water together and whisk into simmering pot of vegetables and broth, to thicken. Return chicken to pot. Make dumplings in order of ingredients and drop by spoonful ( I use a cookie scoop) into pot of simmering chicken and vegetables. Cover and cook 20 minutes more.
