1¾ C. All-Purpose Flour, sifted
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
½ C. Shortening, softened
1 C. Sugar
2 Eggs
⅓ C. Molasses
2 C. Quick-Cooking Oats
1 C. Chopped Walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Cream shortening thoroughly.
Add sugar gradually and cream until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and molasses and beat well.
Stir in sifted dry ingredients, rolled oats, and chopped nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet.
Bake in hot oven (400º) for 8-10 minutes.
