Sour Cream Coffee Cake Recipe

cup butter, softened
cup granulated sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
tsp salt

1 cup sour cream

1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
6 tbsp butter, softened

Chopped walnuts or pecans - optional

Heat oven to 350F
Cream butter and sugar together in a bowl. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Add vanilla. Mix

Stir flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in separate bowl.

Add flour mixture to batter in 3 additions, alternately with sour cream in 2 additions, beginning and ending with flour mixture.

CRUMB MIX: Mix brown sugar, cinnamon and butter until crumbly.

Add walnuts. Stir well. Spread batter in greased 10" tube pan. Sprinkle with crumb mix. Drop remaining batter by small spoonfuls over top. Spread as best you can. Sprinkle remaining crumb mix over top. Bake for 45 minutes until wooden toothpick in center comes out clean.
Cut into 16
