Lasagna Recipe

1/3 cup chopped onion or more
1 lb ground beef
garlic powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp dried oregano
16 oz canned diced tomato
2-8 oz cans tomato sauce
4-6 lasagna noodles
1/4 lb swiss cheese
1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
1 package sliced mozzarella cheese
2 Tblsp dried parsley

Saute meat and onions, add salt and pepper, garlic powder to meat. Drain fat, add small amount of water to get it off. Add tomatoes and sauce, parsley and oregano. Let simmer. Boil lasagna noodles and drain. Assemble 1/3 meat sauce, 2-3 noodles, 1/2 cheese, more sauce, then noodles and cheese,, remaining sauce and more cheese grated on top. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
