1 cup water
1 cup oil
½ cup butter
¼ cup dutch-processed cocoa
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
2 eggs
½ cups buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:
¼ butter, softened
¼ cup cocoa
¼ cup cream
3 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water, oil, butter, and cocoa to boil and remove from heat.
Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, salt in a large bowl.
Add cocoa mixture to flour mixture.
Beat in eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla.
Pour onto greased 13 x 18 sheet pan and bake for 18 minutes at 375º.

FROSTING:
Cream butter, then add ingredients.
Gently frost hot cake and frosting will start to melt and spread beautifully on top of the cake.
Store in refrigerator.
