1 Betty Crocker vanilla cake mix
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
4 egg whites
1 cup sour cream
1 ¼ cups water
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix wet ingredients, then add in dry ingredients.
Scoop into cupcake pan with liners.
Bake at 325º for about 18 minutes.

I tried several different versions of vanilla cupcakes that I wasn't happy with. When I called a professional, cake maker to see what recipe she used, she told me that she had the same experience and finally decided it was okay to use a cake mix. These really are better than any I've tried from scratch.
