Ingredients:  
2 cups water
2 cups raisins
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt, cinnamon and vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Boil raisins and water for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and cook until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and butter.
Cook in pie shel for 30 minutes at 425º. Top with meringue.

Meringue is made by beating egg whites until a bit stiff and add white sugar. Spread on pie and broil for a couple of minutes (needs to be watch so as not to blacken!)
