3 cups Flour
Dash Salt
3 tsp Cinnamon
1 cup Sugar
½ lb Butter or Margarine
2 lbs Apples
Directions:
Directions:
Have shortening at room temp. Butter 9" pie pan.
Crumb everything together, line pan with ½ the mixture.
Quarter apples, then cut crosswise. If apples are not sweet sprinkle with sugar.
Sprinkle cinnamon and some water over this. Put in pan.
Cover with remaining crumbs. Bake at 375º F for 30-40 mins.
