6-8 crustless bread slices one side buttered
1/2 C sliced fresh mushrooms
3/4 C chopped onion
1/2 C chopped bell pepper
203 T butter
1 C shredded cheddar cheese
6 eggs well beaten
2 1/2 C milk
1 lb. sausage - fried, drained and crumbled
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp garlic salt

Directions:
Directions:
Place bread slices in bottom of 9x12" baking dish, buttered side up. Sauté mushrooms, onions and peppers in butter until soft they combine with the remaining ingredients and our over bread. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350º. Bake uncovered for 1 hour or until set.
