½ cup Sugar to 2 cups Vinegar
Onion
Herring

Directions:
Directions:
Boil vinegar, spices in bag and sugar. Cool
Clean and slice herring. Soak in water.Drain.
Slice onion and pack onion, herring in jars.
Pour vinegar mixture over and seal. ready in 2 days.
