2 lb. fresh spinach
1 small head curly endive
1 small bermuda or spanish onion, sliced thin
8 strips bacon, fried crisp and broken up

Viniagrette:
1 1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 slice spanish onion
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 cup vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Make vinaigrette: Place all ingredients in a blender and beat at a high speed, gradually pouring in the oil. Blend until creamy. Chill until needed.

Assemble Salad: Wash and drain greens dry. Mix all salad ingredients. Just before serving, toss with viniagrette.

Makes 10-12 servings.
