I bone-in ham, fully cooked (7 to 8 lbs.)
1 cup Chicken Broth
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup maple syrup (divided into 2 parts)
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
2 cinnamon sticks
12 black peppercorns
8 whole cloves
4 bay leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Place ham in large slowcooker.
Whisk the broth with brown sugar, mustard and half of maple syrup.
Add cinnamon sticks, cloves, peppercorns and bay leaves.
Cook for 6 to 8 hours on low or until ham is tender (internal temp reaches 140º)
Pass the cooking liquid through a fine sieve into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Add remaining maple syrup ad boil until slightly reduced and syrupy.
Brush the glaze over the ham. Slice and serve with remaining glaze. Serve warm or room temp.

The recipe says that honey may be substituted for maple syrup. Might try this one for our next Christmas dinner. Then we would have a ham bone for pea soup!
