Baked pie shell

Drain & measure liquid of 10oz pkg strawberry halves, thawed
Add water to juice to make 1 C

Bring liquid to boil
Add: 1-3oz pkg strawberry jello
Stir: until disolved
Spoon in 1 pt vanilla and/or strawberry ice cream
Stir until melted and smooth
Chill about 20 minutes until thick
Fold in berries
Pour into baked shell
Chill until firm, about 1½ hours
Garnish with dream whip

You can use a cake pan with a baked crust

If you use fresh berries, slice, ¾ C to 1 C boiling water and add ¼ C sugar in jello.
