1 large cabbage
1 apple peeled and cored
2 carrots
1 medium onion
mayonnaise or salad dressing
cold water
6 packets artificial sweetener or to taste

Fill a blender ¾ full with cabbage cover with cold water and blend on grate until cabbage is fine cut.
Pour into sieve and let drain. Continue until all cabbage is blended fine and poured into sieve. Using hands press all water out of cabbage and place in bowl. Blend carrots, onion, and peeled, cored apple. Cover with cold water and blend until fine.
Pour into sieve. Using hands, press all water out of carrots, onion, and apple. Add to bowl with the cabbage. If you have a large bowl pretty full of cabbage, sprinkle with sweetener. Add mayonnaise or salad dressing to the consistency desired. There is not a lot of mayonnaise in this recipe. It is not a thick creamy base but thinner.
