2 cups flour
¼ cups shortening
(room temperature)
1 Tbs oil
2 tsp mixed herbs (parsley, chives,
oregano, savory, thyme, tarragon)

¼ cup dried vegetable flakes such as
dried soup greens – pulverized in
blender, food processor
½ cup sugar
1 tsp each salt & celery salt
½ baking soda
¾ cup warm water

Blend all except water. Add water & blend to smooth dough. Divide in half. Cover and let stand 10 minutes. Place ½ on lightly oiled 17 x 14 inch baking sheet. Flatten to 4 inch square thin roll to edge of sheet. Trim edges but leave in place. Cut into 1 ½ inch squares then triangle if desired pick with a fork. Bake 400º for 10 minutes makes 198 3 inch crackers. 25 cal, 0 protein 4 g carbs 1g fat
