2 cups self-rising corn meal
1 tbs sugar
1 or 2 eggs
1 ¼ cup sweet milk
3 tbs soft or melted fat

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 475º. Mix together eggs, milk and fat. Add all at once to dry ingredients; pour the batter into hot greased muffin pans, filling about 2/3 full. Pop quickly into preheated oven, Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. For corn sticks, bake in molds for and corn bread bake in shallow pan 9x9x2”.
