1 Tbs dry baking yeast
½ cup lukewarm water
2 Tbs oil
4 Tbs honey
1 tsp salt
1 ½ cups hot water
6 cups whole wheat flour

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in lukewarm water. Set aside. Combine remaining ingredients, excluding 4 cups flour. Cool to lukewarm. Add softened yeast and remaining flour to get a firm dough. Knead well, cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 ½ hours. Cut into 18 pieces and roll into balls. Make a hole in the ball with your finger and shape. Let rise ½ hour. Drop into boiling water a few at a time until they rise to the surface. Add seeds if desired. Place on greased cookie sheets and bake at 400* for 30 minutes
