1 c sour cream
3 Tbsp sugar
⅛ tsp. soda
1 tsp salt
1 envelope quick rise yeast
1 egg
2 tbsp shortening
3 cups flour
soft butter for spreading (at least a cube)

FILLING: ⅓ cup brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon and soft butter

Heat sour cream to lukewarm in large saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, soda, salt and yeast. Stir until dissolved. Add egg, shortening and flour. Mix well and turn dough onto floured board and fold over several times until it is smooth. Roll into an oblong 24X6". Spread the whole roll with softened butter, but down half of it (lengthwise) put filling of brown sugar and cinnamon. Fold other half over. Cut into 24 strips one inch wide. Hold Strips at both ends and twist in opposite directions. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet 2" apart. Cover with sprayed saran wrap and let rise until light (1 hr) Bake at 375º oven for 12-15 minutes. Frost and serve while still warm.
