1 ¼ cups white flour
¾ cup unsweetened applesauce
1 ¼ cups wheat flour
1 Tbls cooking oil
¼ cup sugar
1 Tbsp molasses
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
¼ cup cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ tsp baking soda
1/3 cup miniature semisweet chocolate pieces
¾ cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flours, sugars, cocoa powder, soda, & salt. Make a well in the center of & set aside. In another bowl combine milk, applesauce, oil, molasses, vinegar, and vanilla. Add to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened (batter should be lumpy) Stir in half the chocolate pieces. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, fill each about 2/3 full. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate pieces. Bake until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from muffin cups. Serve warm.

Butter or line muffin tins. Bake at 350º for 8 – 10 min for mini or 15 min for reg.
