2 C. sugar
1 C. white corn syrup
1 C. whipping cream
1 Tsp baking soda
1 Tsp vanilla
12-16 C. popped popcorn, salted

Directions:
Directions:
Pop popcorn. Set aside to cool.

Mix sugar and corn syrup in saucepan. Cook to soft ball stage or 225º on candy thermometer. Take off burner and add cream. Cook again to soft ball stage.
Take off stove and add soda and vanilla, stirring quickly. (It will begin to foam)
Pour over popcorn in very large mixing bowl- let cool a few minutes,then butter your hands up and shape into balls. (Spraying waxed paper with cooking spray and using to shape also is useful)
