Filling:
3 c. sweet potatoes, mashed
½ - 1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 -1 ½ tsp. vanilla
½ c. milk
1/3 - ¼ c. butter
½ tsp. nutmeg

Topping:
1 c. light brown sugar
1/3 - ½ c. flour
1/3 c. butter
1 c. pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all filling ingredients and put in a baking dish. Then prepare the Topping

Cut these ingredients together with a pastry cutter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the potato filling and bake for 25- 40 minutes at 350 degrees.

TIP: The filling recipe can be doubled but it is not necessary to double the topping. Also, the recipe calls for butter, do not substitute butter with margarine or vegetable spreads.
