Ingredients:
Ingredients:
7 red apples and 5 green apples.
2 cinnamon sticks

Directions:
Directions:
In a crock-pot, I put the quartered apples, the cinnamon sticks and about ½ cup of water. I then cooked it overnight. In the morning, I tasted the applesauce. It seemed a little tart. So, by ¼ cups I sweetened the applesauce. Once appropriately sweetened and cooked in, I turned it off, allowed it to cool, and put it in the fridge. Later that day (late evening or so) I put it through the Foley Food Mill pan.

NOTE: If you do not have a Foley Food Mill pan [a pan with holes in the bottom and a paddle with a handle attached that turns and smooshes all of the food out leaving the core and skin], then you will need to peel and core the apples before putting them in the crock-pot. Once it is cooked you will need to puree the applesauce somehow as well.

I then chilled, stored, and brought.
