1 lb. bulk pork sausage
2 c. cooked brown rice
3/4 c. milk
1 large stalk celery, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. shredded American cheese or slice velveeta and cover the top.
1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms, drained (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage in a big pot on top of the stove and drain. Stir in cooked rice, milk, celery, green pepper, onion, soup and mushrooms, if using. Pour into an ungreased 2-quart casserole and top with cheese. Cook uncovered at 350º for 45 minutes or until center is bubbly.
