1 lb. hamburger
1/4 lb. sausage
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes (I use sauce)
1 can (16 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
1 1/2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. milk
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. shredded cheese
black olives (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook and stir hamburger, sausage, onion and garlic until meat is brown. Drain. Stir in tomatoes (with liquid), corn, olives, chili powder and salt. Heat to boiling. Pour into an ungreased baking dish, 9 x 13 cake pan or a 2 quart casserole dish. Mix cornmeal, milk and eggs. Pour over meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a 350º oven for 40-50 minutes.
