2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. pumpkin
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Icing:
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1 3/4 -2 c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan. Add brown sugar. Boil over low heat for 2 mins, stirring constantly. Stir in milk and bring to boil. Cool and add sugar. Beat until thick enough to spread on cookies.
