1 (9") deep pie crust, baked
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg strawberry jello
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
1 qt. strawberries, sliced
1 pkg (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Whipped cream
Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, cornstarch and water till clear. Stir constantly. Add jello; let cool. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla together until smooth and spread in bottom of baked pie shell. Put strawberries into pie shell. Pour jello mixture over berries. Top with whipped cream. This is so nice with the first of the seasons fresh strawberries picked fresh from the garden.
