Remove the peel from the lemons and orange. Cut the peel into julienne strips and combine with the sliced or chopped fruit (make sure to remove the pith). Discard seeds.

Add one cup water for each cup pulp and peel. Let stand overnight.

Bring to a boil until the peel is tender.

Add one cup sugar for each cup fruit and juice. Cook until the syrup gives a jelly test or reaches 220°F. Stir occasionally. Pour into hot sterile half pint jars. Release air bubbles, clean rim, and seal. Cook in a hot water bath for 5 minutes.
