12 slices white bread, crusts removed
6 slices cooked ham
6 slices sharp Cheddar cheese
5 eggs
2 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
3/4 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp Worchestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Pinch cayenne pepper
1/4 lb butter
Bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Cover bottom of a buttered 13 x 9 inch casserole with 6 slices of bread
Place a slice of ham on each slice of bread
Top with cheese and another slice of bread
Beat eggs and add milk, onion, green pepper, mustard, Worchestershire, salt, pepper and cayenne
Pour over sandwiches in casserole
Cover and let sit in refridgerator 1 hour to overnight
Preheat oven to 350ºF
Melt butter and pour over top of casserole
Cover with layer of breadcrumbs
Bake 1 hour until puffy and golden brown
