1 1/2 cups shortening
4 1/2 cups All Purpose flour
2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp salt
2 eggs beaten
4 tsp baking soda
1 cup molasses
1 tsp cloves
2 tsp ginger
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF
Cream shortening and sugar together
Add eggs and molasses and mix well
Add sifted flour, salt, baking soda and spices and mix well
Place flattened balls of cookie dough onto parchment-lined cookie sheet
Bake 10-15 minutes
