2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
2 eggs
½ cup corn starch
½ tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
3 to 3½ c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and Crisco. Add eggs, corn starch, salt and vanilla. Stir baking soda into sour cream; add to cream ingredients. Sift flour and baking powder, add to mixture. Refrigerate for two hours.

Roll out ¼ of dough on floured board. Cut out with cookie cutter. Bake at 350º for approximately 10 minutes. Can use colored sprinkles on cookies before cooking or ice after baking.

Total batch should make 7 to 8 dozen.
