2¼ cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
¾ cup packed brown sugar
¾ cup sugar
1 cup Crisco Butter flavor shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
Nuts if desired

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium size bowl, combine flour, soda, and salt; set aside. In a mixing bowl add Crisco butter and sugars, beating until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until all is combined. Gradually add flour mixture beating until all is combined. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts if desired. Mixture will be thick. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake 375º for 8-9 minutes. Cool on wire rack.

This is the original Toll House cookie recipe on the back of the bag of chocolate chips, except that I always use the Crisco butter instead of regular butter or margarine. The Crisco Butter makes them fluffier.
