1 lb ground beef or turkey
3/4 cup chopped red onion
5 cloves minced garlic
3 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 to 1 tsp salt
13/4 to2 cups water
1 can black beans rinsed and drained 15 oz
1 can 15 oz. pinto beans rinsed and drained
1 can 141/2 oz diced tomatoes
1 can 141/2 oz tomato sauce
3 cups peeled butternut squash cut in 1/2 in. Cubes
2tbsp vinegar

½In a Dutch oven over medium heat, brown the meat and onion til onion is tender, 6-8minutes.
Add next 5 ingredients, cook 1 minute longer. Stir in water,both types beans,diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Stir in squash,simmer,covered until squash is tender. 20-30 minutes. Stir in vinegar. Serve with avocado and cheese.
