COOKIES:

2½ c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp cloves
½ tsp salt
½ c butter, softened
1½ c sugar
1 c canned pumpkin
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla

FROSTING:

2 c powdered sugar
3 T milk
1 T melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt; set aside.
Cream together butter and sugar. Add pumpkin, egg and vanilla, beat until creamy. Mix in dry ingredients. Drop on cookie. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Cool cookies. FROSTING: Combine frosting ingredients. Frost cookies and sprinkle with a dash of nutmeg.
