Sweet Cabbage

it’s not hard but I go by taste.I take the cabbage and steam it in the microwave for about 10 min.Cut small chunks ,put in a glass bowl with about 1 cup of water.Cover with Saran Wrap and cook in microwave 10-15 mins.Drain.Melt about 1/2 stick of butter,Salt and pepper to taste, 1/4 cup white sugar,3 Tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, 1/2 cup of chopped onion(Use a sweet onion.I like red onion but it makes the cabbage turn pink) Brown the mix in a frypan for about 20 mins.I like to store it overnight for the flavor to set in. If it’s too sweet add more vinegar, It should have a sweet and sour taste!
