Graham Cracker Brownies

Base Layer
1 Box Graham Crackers (14.4 oz)
1 ˝ tsp. Baking Powder
˝ tsp. Kosher Salt
1 Can. Sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
˝ C. Golden Syrup (Such as Lyle’s)

Top Layer
One Box of Betty Crocker Brownie Mix (9x13 Size) (Make as directed on box)

Preheat oven to 375. Coat 9 x 13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray

Pulse graham crackers, baking powder and salt in food processor to a fine crumb; transfer to bowl. Stir in condensed milk and golden syrup, then stir in chocolate chips; transfer to prepared dish and press into an even layer. (This will serve as your base layer)

Note: You can buy Lyle’s golden syrup on Amazon ( Substitute: ˝ Karo Syrup and ˝ molasses to equal ˝ c. total)

One Box of Betty Crocker Brownie Mix (Make as directed on box)

Make a brownie mix as directed on the box (Make sure it is for a 9x13 pan). Add the brownie mixture to the top of the base and bake until toothpick inserted into the center comes out almost clean, 20ish min. Transfer brownies to a wire rack and cool completely before cutting.
