1½ cups canned or mashed cooked pumpkin
¾ cup sugar
½ tsp. salt
1 to 1¼ tsp. cinnamon
½ to 1 tsp. ginger
¼ to ½ tsp. nutmeg
¼ to ½ tsp. cloves
3 slightly beaten eggs
1¼ cups milk
1 6 oz. can evaporated milk
1 9" unbaked pastry shell

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Thoroughly combine pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices. Blend in eggs, milk and evaporated milk. Pour into unbaked pastry shell, (have edges crimped high - filling is generous). Bake in 400º oven for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted into center comes out clean. Cool. Serve with homemade whipped cream.
