1 cup Karo Light Corn Syrup
⅔ cup sugar
2 TBSP cornstarch
3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
4 medium pears, unpeeled and sliced thin
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
⅔ cup margarine or butter
2 cups Quick or Old Fashioned oats, uncooked
2 eggs, slightly beaten


Directions:

Heat oven to 400º. Grease a 9X13" baking dish. In a medium saucepan, combine the first 3 ingredients. Stir in cranberries. Heat to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer 5 minutes or until cranberries pop open. Stir in pears. Pour into prepared baking dish.

Combine flour, and 1 cup sugar. Cut in butter or margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats, mix well. Add egg, mixing until moistened. Crumble evenly over fruit. Bake 30-35 minutes or until top is golden brown. Remove from oven and let sit 10 minutes before serving.

Serve with vanilla ice cream over warm cobbler.
