1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 cup margarine
1 cup salad oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4½ cups flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
Holiday colored granulated sugars

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the granulated sugar, the confectioners sugar, the margarine and the oil. Add the 2 eggs and vanilla and combine well. In separate bowl, sift the flour, cream of tartar and baking soda. Add to sugar mixture. Mix well. Dough will be soft.

Roll dough into walnut sized balls. Roll the balls into the holiday colored granulated sugars. Place them on a greased cookie sheet. Flatten them with the bottom of a glass dipped in plain or colored sugar.

Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.
