White cake mix
(use water, vegetable oil & eggs as directed on box)
2 favorite jello colors
(for Christmas red/green)

TOPPING
cool whip
¼ teas peppermint extract
crushed candy canes

Directions:
Make & bake white cake per box directions.
When completely cooled.... 1+ hrs
Take 1 color of your jello's & add ½ C boiling water, ½ C cold water....
Spoon jello mixture over cake (if pour it will rip the cake)
Refrigerate 1+ hr.
Repeat with 2nd jello color
Refrigerate 1+ hr.
Blend peppermint extract into Cool Whip...top cake with this
Add crushed candy canes on top
