2¼ cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
½ tsp. salt
¾ cup, (1½ sticks) butter, softened
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup light brown sugar, packed
2 egg yolks
½ cup eggnog
1 tsp. rum extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract

For Frosting:
1 stick butter
4 TBSP eggnog
½ tsp. rum extract
3 cups confectioners sugar
nutmeg for sprinkling or red and green sprinkles

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, with electric mixer, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Add egg yolks one at a time until combined. Beat in eggnog and rum and vanilla extracts. Slowly add flour mixture until well combined. Place heaping teaspoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet. Bake 11-13 minutes, or until light golden on bottom. Let cool 5 minutes, then remove to wire rack to cool completely.

To make frosting, in a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat butter, eggnog, and rum extract until creamy. Slowly add confectioners sugar and mix until smooth. Frost cookies and sprinkle with nutmeg or colored holiday sugars.
