1/2 cup vinegar
1 cup soy sauce
1 head of garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
Ground Black Pepper
Beef, Pot Roast
Vegetable Oil
Cornstarch, dissolved in water

Directions:
Directions:
1). Mix together all ingredients, except beef, oil, cornstarch.
2). Pierce meat in several places and marinade in mixture at least 2 hours (overnight better)
3). Remove from marinade. Heat a little bit of oil in a pot and fry meat on all sides until brown.
4). Pour the marinade into pot and let it boil. Reduce to low heat, cover pot and cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours until tender. 5). Thicken sauce with cornstarch as desired.
6). Slice and serve with rice.

INSTANT POT VERSION:
Follow instruction from 1-3.
Pour marinade sauce, 1/2 cup water in instant pot.
Add the meat.
