1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup softened butter
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups sifted powdered sugar
6 oz chocolate chips
2 Tbsp Crisco

Directions:
Directions:
Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. In a medium mixing bowl, mix peanut butter, butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar with your hands to form a smooth stiff dough. Shape into balls using 2 tsp of dough for each ball.
Melt shortening and chocolate together in a double boiler. Remove from heat. Insert a toothpick into a ball, and dip one side in melted chocolate. Return to wax paper, chocolate side down, and remove toothpick. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set. Store in covered container in refrigerator or cool place.
