6 cups cut up rhubarb
4 cups saskatoons
1 can cherry pie filling
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp almond flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the corn starch and sugar together
Add to the water and boil until thickened
Add the almond flavoring
Add the rhubarb, saskatoons and cherry pie filling
Pour in glass baking pan
Bake at 350º F for 45 mins
Cool and serve with cream or Cool Whip

This can be made into a rhubarb crisp omitting the Saskatoons
For the base, use I cup brown sugar, 1 cup flour, 1 cup rolled oats , 1/2 cup butter or margarine Press into 9 x 13 pan and pour the fruit on top and bake as above
Serve hot or cold with ice cream.
