1. 1 c. water
2 T. yeast
4 T sugar

2. 1 c. sour cream
1 T. salt
3/4 c. sugar
6 eggs
3/4 c. oil
3 c. water
Enough flour to make firm, non-sticky dough.

3. Filling mixture: 1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. coconut
Grated rind of 3 oranges

Take #1 ingredients, mix and let stand till yeast is softened and bubbly

Mix #2 ingredients with the yeast mixture and add enough flour to make a firm, non-sticky dough. Let rise till double in bulk.

Divide the risen dough into 8 - 12 even pieces. Roll into circle and cut into 8 wedges. Sprinkle with the filling mixture and roll up.

Place of a pan and let rise. Bake at 350º F. till lightly browned. When cool, drizzle with the following sauce: 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. sour cream, 3 T. orange rind, 3/4 c. butter. Boil 1 minute.

Depending on how much sauce you like, I find that it usually needs double the sauce to cover adequately cover the buns. But start with the above amount and then adjust it to suit your taste.
