1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 tab. milk
Unwrapped Chocolate Kisses

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 375º
Mix by hand the flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
In a larger separate bowl, mix the sugars, shortening, peanut butter, vanilla, egg and milk until smooth.
Add in the mixed dry ingredients slowly.
Shape dough into balls and roll in sugar.
Bake at 375 for 10 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Remove from oven and immediately place kisses on top of cookie and press down.
Cool.
